General Rules

  • Group stage matches are best-of-one (bo1).
  • Late or no-shows are based off of the estimated schedule or based off of the release time (if the bracket was released late from the schedule)
  • If your match was marked as a tie / draw, then it is considered to be a double forfeit.
  • Each round, you are paired with a team that is closest to your team in record. This may result in teams of not the same record being paired up if need be. In the first round, everyone is randomly seeded except the top four teams in SR.
  • If your team is not seeded in the tournament, then either you have a BYE, which is when a free win is given because there are an odd number of teams, or you are not entered in the tournament. Check with moderators to make sure. Only one bye will be given out per team in the Group Stage if need be, and it'll generally go to the lowest team in the standings.
  • DO NOT SUBMIT A SCORE IF YOU ARE THE FINAL MATCH TO FINISH. Report it to an moderator in chat or in #tournament-disputes and a moderator will get it for you. This is for Challonge bracket generation purposes.
  • If there is a problem, submit a ticket in #tournament-disputes.
  • @ TO's and Staff in #tournament-questions for any questions during the match. Any disputes should be reserved for after the match and ticketed. BRING EVIDENCE with you (snapshots, etc...)
  • Top 8 advances to playoffs, which are single elimination matches that are best-of-three maps. If you are a top 8 team, you'll be given an invite shortly to the Playoffs bracket.
  • Any map that draws (e.g. Eichenwalde draw) will go to a single round on Oasis to determine a winner.
  • Tiebreakers between tied teams that might go to playoffs based on the tiebreaker will be played as a best-of-one round on Oasis. Tournament organizers will release the format of those tiebreakers if needed.
  • Players may not play for more than one team.
  • Team not hosting the lobby chooses to attack or defend (the lower seed or the bottom part of the match). The higher seed (the top part of the match) hosts the lobby.
  • In the playoffs, attack and defend choice goes to the team that has lost the previous map.
  • If a disconnect happens, teams are given five minutes to find a replacement (doesn't have to be the same person). They may sub mid-map only during disconnects. After five minutes, they'll be forced to play a 5v6 for the remainder of that map.
  • Be nice to one another, and please be nice to moderators. They are human, too.
